PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide network facsimile equipment capable of providing an energy saving function in the network facsimile equipment provided with a mail server function. SOLUTION: This equipment is provided with a network communication control means to be connected to a network for exchanging electronic mail and an energy saving control means for controlling the energy saving function and since the energy saving control means supplies power to the network communication control means in an energy saving control mode and the network communication control means is equipped with the mail server function for receiving the electronic mail, an effect capable of effectively utilizing the energy saving mode is provided.
