PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a detaching operation of both connector housings smoothly. SOLUTION: In a space 40 to house a lever between a wall 41 of a female housing 21 and a housing wall 42, the lever 70 mounted on a cover 50 is inserted, and the front ends of both walls 41, 42 are coupled by a reinforcing wall 43. In the reinforcing wall 43, an opening part 45 through which the follower pin 17 of the male connector 10 can pass is installed, and this opening part 45 is formed to fit with an entrance of the cam groove 74 of the lever 70 adjusted as an initial position. By the lever being rotated while the follower pin 17 being engaged with the cam groove 74 of the lever 70, both connectors 10, 20 are fitted with and separated from each other. When both connectors 10, 20 are detached from each other, after the lever 70 is rotated to the initial position, the both connectors 10, 20 are detached from each other. Even if there is some backlash in the entrance of the cam groove 74 for the follower pin 17, by the follower pin 17 being slid and abutted on the guiding part 81 installed in the mouth rim of the rear side of the opening 45, the movement to the opening part 45 can be performed smoothly.
