PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diesel particulate filter capable of purifying and disposing of particulates, HC, CO, and NOx in exhaust gas of a diesel engine inexpensively. SOLUTION: In this diesel particulate filter A having a cell wall 11 separating an exhaust gas inflow passage 12 blocking its downstream end from an exhaust gas outflow passage 13 locking its upstream end, having a cell pore diameter 111 collecting particulates when exhaust gas passes on the cell wall 11, and arranged in an exhaust passage of the diesel engine, an NOx selection and reduction catalyst layer 4 selecting and reducing NOx is provided on a surface 113 of the cell wall on the exhaust gas inflow passage side 12, and an oxidation catalyst layer 5 having a pore 51 whose pore diameter 51 is larger than the cell pore diameter 111 and smaller than a particulate diameter 31 of particulate 3 is provided on the surface 113 of the cell wall. |
