PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system where both real time access and random access are available and the throughput in communication terminals and a communication network can be enhanced. SOLUTION: A LAN terminal 1 acting like a communication control station assigns communication timing to a request of communication timing from LAN units 2, 5 going to transmit real time data, and informs each LAN terminal connected to the same network about information denoting the assigned communication timing. The communication terminals being the request source LAN units 2, 5 transmit the data for a real time area of their communication period on the basis of the communication timing assigned to them and transmit random data for a random access area.
