PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open/close mechanism of cover realizing an electronic apparatus having excellent appearance in which intrusion of dust into the housing is prevented. SOLUTION: A pair of rotary shafts 11 provided in a cover 9 are inserted in a process for forming a pair of bearings 12 in the shape of a hole elongated substantially in the vertical direction by bonding a part 16 of a first housing 7 to a part 14 of a second housing 6. Since the rotary shaft 11 can be inserted into the bearing 12 without deforming the cover 9 resiliently, the cover 9 is not damaged at the time of assembling. When the cover 9 is assembled, positioning of each rotary shaft 11 through a rotary shaft positioning mechanism 18, 21 is released and each rotary shaft 11 is released downward along the elongated hole shape of each bearing 12 as the cover 9 is released. A large gap for preventing interference at the time of opening/closing the cover can thereby be eliminated between the cover 9 and the housing, resulting in an electronic apparatus having excellent appearance in which intrusion of dust into the housing is prevented.
