PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized calculator capable of being carried at all times to be used any time and becoming a convenient item by being made to accompany the strap of a portable telephone. SOLUTION: This calculator is provided with a computing element 6, a liquid crystal display device 3 and a solar battery 2 for the power source, transmission sounds respectively transmitted when operating numeral buttons and symbol buttons provided on the portable telephone 8 are inputted to the computing element and the arithmetic result is displayed at the liquid crystal display device.
