PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight inexpensive air cleaner capable of improving its suction noise without affecting its dust separation performance. SOLUTION: Each of an air cleaner case 2 housing an air cleaner element 1, an inner cover 4 constituting the bottom wall of the case 2, and an outer cover 6 constituting a dust pan 7 along with the inner cover 4 is constructed of a resin molding. While both of the covers 4, 6 are welded and connected together in their circumferences and installed removably to the bottom part of the air cleaner case 2, while the intermediate parts of both covers 4, 6 are connected together via a supporting column 8, so that rigidity of the dust pan 7 is increased.
