METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING SEGMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for assembling segments, shortening a tunnel construction time by efficiently carrying out assembly work in the method of assembling the segments to an excavated wall surface every excavation of a tunnel of fixed length by a shield machine. SOLUTION: Segment lining is formed by repeating a process of excavating the tunnel of fixed length wherein segments of two ring portion can be assembled by elongating a shield jack with a stroke of length double the width of a segment equivalent to the length direction of the tunnel, to advance the shield machine, and a process of batch-assembling the segments of two front and rear ring portion using an erector disposed movably in longitudinal and circumferential directions in a rear shell part of the shield machine.
