PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight panel which allows screws to be set at any portion of a butt end face thereof. SOLUTION: The panel has a five-layer structure consisting of a decorative layer 1, an intermediate layer 2, a core layer 3, the intermediate layer 2, and the decorative layer 1, and by fixing a reinforcing member 4 for installing a door hinge fixture to the core layer 3 on the panel butt end face on a door installing side by means of a fixing member 5, loading resistance to the door is sufficiently ensured even if the core layer 3 is thin in thickness in order to reduce the weight of the panel. In this case, the intermediate layers 2 are formed of synthetic resin foam, and therefore a projection portion of the fixing member 5 is absorbed in the intermediate layers 2 and is not exposed to the decorative layers 1. As a result, the appearance of the panel is not marred.
