There is a hollow vertical element (14), e.g. a door pillar, which carries a casing (16), containing the seatbelt roller, whose feet (18) receives a screw (26) fixing this casing on the element (14). The sensor (12) thus is fixed on the element (14) by means of the fixing screw (26). On a support (30) of the sensor, there are members for holding the fixing feet (18) of the roller casing (16) prior to its screwing on the wall (20) of the vertical element (14).
