PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically monitor the increase tendency in memory consumption and to attain the stable working and continuous operation of a computer system. SOLUTION: A monitoring abnormality coping means 1 calculates the threshold of a process concerned by monitoring the memory consumption of the process on the basis of a previously fixed monitoring condition 3, stores the threshold in an operation monitoring condition/increase tendency discrimination result 4, discriminates the increase tendency of the memory consumption by monitoring the memory consumption of the process based on the monitoring condition and stored in the result 4, and at detecting of abnormal increase tendency of memory consumption, generates abnormality information 5 and controls an abnormality processing execution means 6, so that the means 6 copes with abnormality. An operating process memory consumption sampling means 2 acquires memory consumption for each viewpoint of the operating process. An abnormality information display means 7 displays the contents of the abnormality information 5. |
