<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To instruct a three-dimensional point on a screen according to an operation which is almost equivalent to that of a conventional mouse, and to three-dimensionally move or rotate a three-dimensional object displayed on a screen. SOLUTION: This three-dimensional input device is provided with at least one first sphere-shaped position detecting means constituted in two axial directions on a plane so as to be freely rotatable, for detecting the displacement in a two-dimensional direction on the plane and at least one second position detecting means 2 supporting the first position detecting means so as to be freely rotatable and for detecting the displacement in a direction vertical to the plane corresponding to a power added to the first position detecting means.</p> |
