<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb the horizontal relative displacement of piping on the base- isolated building side and a non-base-isolated foundation part or piping at the non-base-isolated foundation part, to have no restrictions on distance from a fire limit through-wall and further to simplify constitution. SOLUTION: This joint for base-isolated piping is provided with flange parts 11, 12 provided at upper and lower end parts and respectively connectable to upper and lower piping vertically provided at a base-isolated building and a non-base-isolated foundation part, and a displacement absorbing pipe 10 made of metal, integrally provided between the upper and lower flange parts 11, 12, and expansive and flexible by bellows parts, 14, 15 to absorb the horizontal relative displacement of the upper piping and lower piping. An inner pipe 13 having a smooth inner side face and capable of absorbing the horizontal relative displacement of the upper piping and lower piping together with the displacement absorbing pipe 10 is provided inside the displacement absorbing pipe 10.</p> |
