PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plurality of ATM channel reception methods by which a VCI filter can efficiently be utilized and each host station can be idenfity in a leased channel interface section. SOLUTION: In a plurality of ATM channel termination methods, when the base station demodulator of a mobile communication system utilizing an existing leased channel 51 for a physical medium sub layer using a transmission method to map an ATM cell for data communication among host stations 50 requires the leased channel interface corresponding to the host stations 50 attended with the large capacity tendency of a base station, a leased channel number is added to an HEC area of the received ATM cell from each host station 50 for the processing so as to minimize added functions of the leased channel interface section attended with the increase in the leased channels and the added functions can be simply designed by using a conventional technology.
