PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically collect data for examining the relation between noise and the ecology of raptors. SOLUTION: A nest of birds of prey and a construction site are subjected to video recording by a video recorder and also recorded in a FIFO memory. For instance, when the noise level of the construction site surpasses a prescribed value, the storage video data of the FIFO memory is switched so as to be subjected to video recording by the video recorder. Thus, it is possible to automatically collect data for making it possible to minutely analyze how the birds of prey behave around the nest 100, i.e., data for examining the relation between noise and the birds of prey in presence of big noises at the moment of the noise occurrence and after the noise at the construction site 200.
