PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door structure to be easily opened and closed and capable of securing a sufficient effective opening. SOLUTION: This sliding door structure is provided with a pair of an outer door 2 and an inner door 3 to be horizontally slid inside of a framework 1 so as to open and close the inside of the framework 1. At least one of the outer door 2 and the inner door 3 is provided with a stopper 4 for preventing the perfect overlap of the outer door 2 and the inner door 3 with each other and parts 23a and 33a are left as they are not pulled. These left parts 23a and 33a are provided with a handrail 5, and since the outer door 2 and the inner door 3 are slid by holding the handrail 5, interference of the outer door 2 or the inner door 3 with the handrail 5 is prevented when opening and closing the slide door.
