PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charged particle deflection electromagnet in which deformation is not produced in a coil lead of a superconductive wire even if a bobbin and a coil housing vessel are formed from mutually different materials. SOLUTION: This is characterized by that a relative displacement preventing device 4 is installed to prevent relative displacement between a coil housing instrument 3 and a bobbin 2 based on the difference of thermal shrinkage rate at the time of cooling of superconductive coil 1. This relative displacement preventing device 4 consists of a fitting hole 42 that is installed at the bobbin 2 of the superconductive coil 1 or at the coil housing vessel 3, and a protrusion 41 which is installed at the coil housing vessel 3 or the bobbin 2 and which is fitted without a back-lash into the fitting hole 42, or consists of the fitting hole 42 which penetrates into the wall of coil housing vessel 3 and the bobbin 2, and a fitting pin 43 to be fitted into these fitting holes 42. |
