PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method and an image processor capable of performing scrupulous paint-out processing in accordance with the requested contents of image display in a short processing time. SOLUTION: First, contour points that approximate respective line segments constituting the contour of a plotting object are found among respective pixels arranged in X and Y axial directions. The image data of pixels selected as a processing object are subjected to reversal processing among pixels belonging to each line that goes across the respective line segments in each line about the respective line segments. Concretely, in the processing of an ordinary line that does not go through the end point of a line segment, whether or not the contour points on the line are defined as a processing object is decided in each line segment. In the processing of the final line that goes through the end point, whether or not the line is defined as a processing object is decided in each line segment. Meanwhile, when the line is defined as a processing object, a part or the whole of the pixels between the contour point of the line and a boundary line are defined as processing objects. |
