PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Si photoreceptor and a device for image formation in which sticking of toner during cleaning is prevented and good image formation is realized. SOLUTION: A photoconductive layer 302 containing a-Si is formed on a conductive substrate 301 having <6 nm surface roughness Ra in a 10μm×10μm area, and the surface roughness Ra of the photoconductive layer 302 in a 10μm×10μm area is 15 nm to 100 nm.
