PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device equipped with a soot sensor arranged in a gas pipe for soot particle-entraining gas, and its using method, and a sensor and a method for determining the soot concentration in the soot particle- entraining fluidized gas, capable of detecting surely a small quantity of soot. SOLUTION: This kind of measuring device is equipped with the soot sensor equipped with a device having a conductive component having the charge having some property, for generating the charge having another property on the soot particles on the upper stream of the soot sensor in the gas. This kind of measuring device is also equipped with a device having a conductive component placed on the material electric potential, for generating the charge on the soot particles on the upper stream of the soot sensor in the gas.
