PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air blower enhancing blast performance while increase in production cost is suppressed. SOLUTION: This air blower has a rotor blade 2 in which plural blade parts 21 are arranged in the peripheral direction and rotated around the shaft of the moving blade; and a fan case 1 surrounding the rotor blade 2 and having a suction port 11 for sucking air and an exhaust port 12 for exhausting air along almost the tangent direction to the rotation locus of the rotor blade 2. A part opposite to the rotor blade 2 in a tongue part 4 of the exhaust port 12 is formed with a material easily wearing than the rotor blade 2 and resistant to break even if coming in contact with the rotating rotor blade 2 so that the tongue part 4 does not wear and damage the rotor blade 2 even if the tongue part 4 comes in contact with the rotating rotor blade 2, and the tongue part 4 is arranged so that a part on the side opposite to the rotor blade 2 of the tongue part 4 comes in close contact with the rotor blade 2 or keeps a state near to the close contact.
