GOVERNOR FOR DISTRIBUTION TYPE FUEL INJECTION PUMP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a governor 1 for a distribution type fuel injection pump capable of suppressing increase of injection quantity when an accelerator lever is fully closed. SOLUTION: A hook-like stopper part 10a is integrally provided to a tension lever 10, and a pin part 11a is provided to a supporting lever 11. The pin part 11a is provided to a position to be locked to the stopper part 10a when the supporting lever 11 is rotated at a specified amount toward a side to increase the injection quantity around a first spindle 13. The supporting lever 11 can be prevented from being too tilted by locking the pin part 11a to the stopper part 10a when the supporting lever 11 is rotated toward the side to increase the injection quantity around the first spindle 13 in starting an engine with the accelerator fully closed. The increase of the injection quantity more than required in starting can be thereby prevented, and generation of smoke due to oversupply of the fuel in starting the engine can be suppressed.
