PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To firmly connect two pipe members made of a synthetic resin without using an adhesive when the pipe members are connected. SOLUTION: When ring-shaped projecting sections 16 are formed from the outer circumferential section of the fitting cylindrical section 14a of the first cylinder member 14 in a universal round elbow 11 at a plurality of stages in the axial direction and the fitting cylindrical section 14a is inserted and fitted to the inner circumferential section of a straight pipe 12, the first cylinder member 14 and the straight pipe 12 are connected firmly by press-contact force in which each projecting section 16 is press-contacted with the straight pipe 12. When ring-shaped projecting sections 17 are also formed from the inner circumferential section of the second cylinder member 15 at a plurality of stages in the axial direction and the outer circumferential section of one end section of a straight pipe 13 is inserted and fitted to the inner circumferential section of the second cylinder member 15, the second cylinder member 15 and the straight pipe 13 are connected firmly by press-contact force in which each projecting section 17 is press-contacted with the straight pipe 13.
