PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information transmitting method by which a telephone call incoming from a caller can be confirmed without cutting the Internet connection even while the Internet is used for a long time. SOLUTION: An information transmitting system 100 has an information transmitting network 90 composed of a telephone line network 1 with which plural telephone sets 4 and PC terminals 5 are connected, the Internet 2 and a telephone-Internet gateway 3 for mutually connecting the telephone line network 1 and the Internet 2. The telephone-Internet gateway 3 is provided with an Internet use presence/absence deciding means 7 for deciding whether the destination of telephone call is using the Internet, a voice storage means 8 for storing the voice message of the caller, a file converting means 9 for converting the stored voice message to an attachment file and a mail transmitting means 10 for transmitting the mail with attached voice file to a PC terminal 52 of the transmission destination.
