The accessory consists of a flexible ring (5) with a number of deformable wires wrapped (6, 7) around the ring, so that the ends (1, 2, 3, 4) of the wires project away from the ring. The wires end in pin caps (8) and are covered with plastic or chenille. Bunches of hair are fed through the ring and are wrapped around using the wires, to make the bunches of hair stand out from the head.
