PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To authenticate participation in a network conference system consisting of attendant terminals, a presentation data terminal and a chairman terminal. SOLUTION: When an electronic device obtains the power of a chairman terminal possessing an authentication function for user authentication, a device management function, and an agenda control function among electronic devices taking part in a conference, the chairman terminal uses the authentication function to obtain a conference participation request including personal information with respect to other participating electronic devices from a conference management server and generates participation approval information or participation disapproval information o the other participation electronic devices according to the operation of a user based on the personal information. Thus, the chairman terminal provides personal information with respect to a user operating the participating electronic device making a participation request in response to the conference participation request to the chairman so as to authenticate the participation. |
