PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical data bus which makes it possible to efficiently receive incident signal light at photodetecting nodes in correspondence to the increase in the number of the nodes which are made incident with and emit the signal light from a light transmission space. SOLUTION: Signal light incident sections 23 and 24 are arranged in the upper step and lower step of an end face 31 of an optical transmission medium 1 and signal light exit sections 12 are concentrically arranged in proximity to each other in the middle step. The signal light exit sections 12 are diffused and irradiated with the signal light made incident from the signal light incident sections 21 and 22 of the end face 32. The end face 32 side is similarly constituted in order to allow bidirecitonal transmission. As a result, the quantity of the received light per photodetecting node is increased and efficiently photodetection is made possible. |
