PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic display device with a comparatively simple configuration where a motion of an image is natural without a flicker or the like with less visual fatigue. SOLUTION: A control section (11) is provided with a signal switching control circuit (12) that receives a depth signal and generates a switching signal denoting which light emitting element array is to be selected and an address generating circuit (13) that generates scanning position information. A corresponding light emitting element array is selected among the light emitting element arrays arranged in the depth direction on the basis of the scanning position information to connect an output of a two-dimensional image signal to the corresponding position of the selected light emitting element array. A display section (14) is configured such that pixels not selected are made of a transparent substance so as not shade a light from a rear side and that pixels are arranged physically so as not to shut the light.
