PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display method by which the gradation display capability of a display panel is drawn out and a high display quality picture can be displayed by optimizing a gradation display characteristics of the display panel by matching it to a video signal of a picture information signal. SOLUTION: In an organic EL panel 11 comprising plural data electrodes 2... extended in a 1st direction, and plural scanning electrodes 3... extended in the direction orthogonal to the above 1st direction, pixels are formed at the crossing parts of the above data electrodes 2 and scanning electrodes 3, and when the above scanning electrodes 3 are sequentially selected in the 1st direction, this selected duration is varied according to picture information to be inputted to a selected scanning electrode. |
