PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of inability to reproduce radio wave propagation characteristics over the sea corresponding to various states of sea surfaces in a room. SOLUTION: A transmitting antenna 2 and receiving antenna 3 are stationarily arranged in a radio wave dark room 1, and a water tank 5 including a wave generating device 4 is arranged between the transmitting antenna 2 and receiving antenna 3. The direct waves of the radio waves transmitted from the transmitting antenna 2 and the radio waves from the transmitting antenna 2 are reflected and scattered at the water surface in the water tank 5, and the reflected waves and scattered waves are received by the receiving antenna 3. This radio wave characteristics measuring device is provided with a measuring means to measure the received electric-field strength of the composite waves of the direct waves, reflected waves, and scattered waves received by the receiving antenna 3. |
