ESTIMATING METHOD FOR BUILDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an estimating method by which the cost of a building can be estimated by specifying building members to be estimated by performing input operation while referring to a picture on a display. SOLUTION: An estimation information input person generates a silhouette picture 2 of a building on the display 1 and then a computer generates original images for building constitution positions input such as original images for external wall input, floor input, and ceiling input specified on the basis of the silhouette picture 2. The original images for building constitution position input which are thus generated are collections of building member display parts 4. On those original images 3 displayed on the display 1, the estimation information input person selects and inputs building members 5 corresponding to the respective building member display parts 4 out of one to plural candidates and then the computer performs estimation processing for the building members 5 of the building according to the inputted information on the building members 5.
