PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide facsimile equipment with which the read of an image photographed by a digital still video camera from a card memory can be operated with a simple method while using the attachable and detachable card memory, data can be confirmed on a display part and these data can be printed or transmitted to a telephone line. SOLUTION: In a facsimile equipment having an image input means for inputting image data of an original, an image processing means for processing the image data inputted by the image input means, an image output means for forming and outputting the image based on the image data processed by the image processing means and a control means for controlling the entire equipment, this equipment has a memory card interface for inputting data from the memory card and writing the data onto the memory card and a display means capable of displaying operation contents and data.
