PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna driving device which can be miniaturized, and in which costs can be reduced and the safety of worker is ensured, for the antenna driving device for driving the body of a parabolic antenna to be used for satellite communication. SOLUTION: An EL driving device 3 is provided with a jack 3C equipped with a ball screw device. Therefore, even a motor 3A of comparatively small capacity can provide expected drive efficiency and miniaturization and cost reduction can be attained. A manual manipulator 4A which is used during fault in the motor or the like, incorporates a worm decelerator and only when this manual manipulator 4A is attached to the EL drive device 3, the brake cancel of the motor 3A is allowed. Therefore, since braking cannot be canceled, before attaching the manual manipulator 4A and automatic fastening operation works by means of the worm decelerator in a state of being attached with the manual manipulator 4A, self-running of the body 1 of antenna can be prevented. Thus, safety of worker can be ensured.
