PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equipment control system, capable of simply executing the updating of an execution program for controlling external equipment. SOLUTION: A CPU 11 executes a program stored in a flash ROM 14 to control the equipment. When executing the updating of the execution program, a flash erasure/write program 14b is copied in a RAM area 13b, the contents of an area 14d of the flash ROM 14 are erased by the program and the version- upped program is written in the area 14d. When a power supply is turned on, the updated program is copied in an execution area and executed. Since it is unnecessary to substitute the whole flash memory in order to execute the version-up, the operation time of the version-up can be greatly reduced.
