<p>The invention relates to a water-transfer device that is situated in the water, such as the sea or a lake, and which acts by wave power to transfer water that is originally stratified according its salt content and/or temperature. It is especially intended for transferring water from lower regions D, where the water has a low oxygen content, to layers A-C where the water has a higher oxygen content. The device for transferring water consists of the following parts: a) an upper part 10, which comprises a pontoon 11, b) a motion-transferring part 20, c) an anchoring device 50 that comprises some anchoring buoys 51, lateral supporting lines 52, a bottom anchor line 53 and a bottom anchor 54, and d) a lower pumping element 30 that comprises a frame 33 placed on the bottom E, which is connected to a fixed shaft or stem 34 with a suction inlet 31.
