An antiobesity composition comprises a compound of formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable, salt, racemate or enantiomer thereof and an anorectic agent wherein: R is OH, esterified OH or etherified OH; R1 and R2 are independently halo, trifluoromethyl or alkyl; R3 is halogen, trifluoromethyl, alkyl, aryl, arylalkyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkylalkyl, carbocyclic aryl methyl, carbocyclic aroyl, carbocyclic arylhydroxymethyl or R3 is R8-C(R9)(R10); R4 is H, halogen, trifluoromethyl or alkyl; R5 and R6 are independently H or alkyl or together with the carbon to which they are attached are carbonyl; X is O, S or NR7; R7 is H or alkyl; R8 is H, alkyl, aryl, cycloalkyl, arylalkyl or cycloalkylalkyl; R9 is OH or acyloxy and R10 is H or alkyl or together with the carbon to which they are attached are carbonyl; W is O or S and Z is carboxyl or carboxyl derivatised as a pharmaceutically acceptable ester or amide.
