<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a symbol inputting device capable of exchangeable using each kind of keyboard and stabilizing the sensing of the presence or absence of the depression of a symbol input key. SOLUTION: It is recognized that one of plural first symbol input keys 2 is depressed by a touch panel 5 for recognizing the depression of the symbol input key from the position directly brought into contact with the depressed key or a position recognizing device 9 for recognizing the displacement of the depressed key from the position sensed in a non-contact state, and the recognized position of the touch panel 5 or the position recognizing device 9 is converted into the input symbol of the depressed key by a symbol converting device 7.</p> |
