PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp the consumption trend of clients in a point card system. SOLUTION: This system is provided with plural point card terminals 4 close to respective POS terminals 2 and a point card total center device 7 for collecting point card utilization information from the respective point card terminals and each of point card terminals fetches the selling price and receipt specification information described on a receipt 16 issued in the POS terminal, calculates a point, applies it to the client, who holds a point card, and transmits card information and the receipt specification information to the point card total center device 7 as point card utilization information. Besides, the point card total center device 7 retrieves sale registration information collected by a totalizer 3 in a POS system from the receipt specification information contained in each of point card utilization information, fetches the information described on the receipt specified by the relevant receipt specification information and makes the client, who holds the point card, correspondent to the purchase amount and purchased article of the relevant client. |
