PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely recover residual toner and paper fiber, etc., at a cleaning station by preventing foreign matters, such as a mass of paper fiber, sticking to a photoreceptor drum from becoming bigger. SOLUTION: The image forming device scrapes sticking matters, which remain on the photoreceptor drum 1 after a transfer process, with a blade 3 of the cleaning station 25 and recovers them as waste toner. In the image forming device, a non-transfer process is executed in such a manner that a transfer operation is stopped at fixed intervals and a toner image 6 on the photoreceptor drum 1 is sent to the cleaning section 25 without being transferred. Thus a mass of paper fiber accumulating on the photoreceptor drum 1 is pushed and demolished with a relatively large amount of toner of the untransferred toner image and recovered without leakage from the cleaning station 25. |
