PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably hold, to store and to eject paper money having wrinkles and tears because too many sheets of paper money are stored and due to the circulation state of paper money and not only Japanese paper money but also paper money whose paper quality is different such as foreign paper money in an ordered state and also to provide a paper money storing and ejecting cabinet where the person in charge loads paper money in a storing part and which has high operability. SOLUTION: This paper money storing and ejecting cabinet is provided with a stack/separating mechanism and a pressing board driving mechanism, a means which is linked with the pressing board driving mechanism and moves the position of a separation/stack guide 805, a driving force connecting and releasing means for a pressing board 806 and a lower paper money supporting member, a pressing board locking means, and a housing type stand which can make a storing and ejecting cabinet incline with the stack/separation mechanism at a lower side.
