PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vortex flowmeter enhanced in sensitivity. SOLUTION: The vortex flowmeter, which detects the twist alternating force acting on a columnar vortex generation body or force receiving body by a Kalman vortex to measure a flow rate is equipped with a pipeline through which a fluid to be measured flows, the first cylindrical part provided on the side of the pipeline of the vortex generation body or force receiving body and fixed to the pipeline at one end thereof, the second cylindrical part connected to the other end of the first cylindrical part at one end thereof and having twist rigidity less than that of the first cylindrical part and the twist detection sensor provided to the second cylindrical part to detect the twist alternating force.
