PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the difficulty with the prior art wherein ventilation resistance is more increased than a coupling shaft single unit to deteriorate air fan performance, and further since an air direction altering apparatus is disposed near the region of a blow-off section in which air velocity is high, there might be brought into an increase of noise due to collision. SOLUTION: An air direction altering apparatus is adapted such that a coupling shaft cover is provided for covering a coupling shaft, and a lower or upper portion of the coupling shaft cover is extended to the upstream side to configure the apparatus into a wing. The air direction alteration apparatus is characterized in a coupling shaft cover, that is substantially ellipse for covering the coupling shaft from a lower or an upper portion.
