PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support device improved in the durability at a low manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: This support device 1 is provided with a pair of receiver plates 2F and 2M to be fitted to a movable part and a fixed part and a locker 4 to be pinched for holding by the pair of receiver plates 2F and 2M. The locker 4 has a roller part 4a and an engagement part 4b, and the roller part 4a is brought in pressure-contact with flat surfaces 3 and 3 of the receiver plates 2F and 2M, and engagement surfaces CFa, CFb, CMa and CMb of the engagement part 4b are brought in contact with inclined surfaces 16F, 17F, 16M and 17M of the receiver plates 2F and 2M. In this support device 1, when the roller part 4a is rotated and the locker 4 is moved, the locker 4 is held between the pair of receiver plates 2F and 2M by the engaging work of the pair of receiver plates 2F and 2M.
