PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excavated sediment carry-out device for a shield machine capable of easily carrying out gravel and clay lumps while shortening the length of the shield machine and enlarging a working space by disusing a long-sized screw conveyor. SOLUTION: A short pipeline part is provided facing an excavated sediment take-in chamber provided on the back face side of a cutter head, to take fluidized excavated sediment in the take-in chamber, into a short-sized screw conveyor disposed at the short pipeline part, and large lumps in the excavated sediment are segmented small by a cutting device provided in the pipeline part, through a pipeline part intersecting the short pipeline part, and then carried into a disc pump from a suction port of the disc pump connected and communicated with the lower end of the pipeline part. The excavated sediment between discs, disposed parallel with each other, of the disc pump is delivered to a sediment carry-out pipeline from an outer peripheral open end between the discs by centrifugal force while being integrally rotated by the rotation of the discs.
