PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angle plug connector wherein the space in the direction of insertion or pulling out can be reduced and the degree of freedom to move a cable can be increased as well, and wherein the rigidity is large. SOLUTION: The angle plug connector 1 consists of an insulator body 2 whose tip part is inserted into a counterpart connector, plural contacts 3, an angle-type metal cover 32 to shield the second metal cover 5 covering a connection leg part 10 of the contacts 3 and an exposed part of an electric wire 36 extends in the orthogonal direction against the first metal cover 4 which covers the outside of the insulator body 2 and cover housings 6, 7 which is mounted on the outer side of the metal cover 32 to shield and wherein the insulator body 2 and a signal cable 35 protrude mutually in the orthogonal direction. The cover housings 6, 7 are divided into the first cover housing 6 and the second cover housing 7 along the plane which passes the center line of the insulator body 2 and the signal cable 35.
