PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor, capable of attaining reductions in the number of parts and size and facilitating joining work of a brush holder and a housing. SOLUTION: Retaining parts 20b of two joining pieces 20, extending to the central axis side of a rotating shaft inserting hole 12a in a brush holder 12, are arranged in the brush holder 12. The bending parts 20a of the respective connecting pieces 20 exposed from a housing contact face 12b of the brush holder 12 and arranged symmetrically with the central axis of the rotating shaft inserting hole 12a are inserted through joining piece inserting holes 15a, 15b provided in a housing 11 and bent along the radial direction of the rotating shaft inserting hole 12a. The bending parts 20a of the respective joining pieces 20 are bent outwardly, moving away from the central axis of the rotating shaft insertion hole 12a.
