PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power circuit which can reduce the energy hazards caused by the heating of a device in overload condition or the increase of a current, by controlling the leaked current detection value in overcurrent condition due to faults of parts, etc., according to the constitution of the device. SOLUTION: This power circuit comprises an input part 1, a switching control circuit 5 consisting of a power converting circuit 2, a switching circuit 3, etc., an overcurrent detection circuit 16, an overcurrent-setting circuit 25, a current consumption information controller 31, and others. This has current consumption storage elements 33a-33d, which have stored the current consumption of individual control PKs 32a-32d constituting the device, computes the current consumption of the device with a current consumption controller 31 from the information, compares the current consumption value with an overcurrent set value geared to the predetermined current consumption with an overcurrent-setting circuit 25, so as to decide an overcurrent detection value, detects the output current of the power source by means of the overcurrent detecting circuit 16, and controls the output, when a current over the overcurrent detection value has flowed.
