PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile navigation system which automatically analyzes a user's preference for drop-in places, etc., and automatically searches for routes reflecting the preference. SOLUTION: There are provided a one's vehicle information-managing means 8 for detecting the present state of one's vehicle, a map information database 3 in which map data showing routes to destinations and guide mark data near the routes are recorded, a guide mark use state-analyzing means 6 for evaluating a use frequency of facilities, etc., indicated by guide marks recorded in the map information database on the basis of one's vehicle position information and one's vehicle present state and forming guide mark use frequency evaluation data, a personal information-managing means 5 for managing and storing guide mark use frequency evaluation data, and a route-searching means 2 for searching for routes to destinations on the basis of information of the map database. Routes to destinations can be searched for with the user's preference being taken into account in accordance with the guide mark use frequency evaluation data. |
