PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device by which separating performance is improved, quick start is made possible, excellent fixing is made possible, and also the excellent driven rotation of a heat ray fixing rotating member is made possible. SOLUTION: A roll-like heat ray fixing rotating member and an endless belt member arranged so as to come in press-contact with it are provided, and a first fixing roller member to press the heat ray fixing rotating member to one inside end of a belt member is provided, and also a second fixing roller member is provided at the other end, and the belt member is laid, so that the heat ray fixing rotating member is driven and rotated by the driving rotation of the belt member, and a first fixing nip part is formed on the ejection side of a transfer material by being pressed by the first fixing roller member, and a second fixing nip part is formed by the belt member and the heat ray fixing rotating member on the upstream side of the first fixing nip part.
