PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame detecting device for a gas turbine with a simple structure facilitating maintenance such as exchange work. SOLUTION: Each of one ends of two wave guides 11 is connected to a combustion chamber of a combustor 2b, and three UV photocells 13 for detecting ultraviolet rays are provided at the other end of the wave guide 11 to detect whether the flame exists in the combustion chamber or not by detecting the ultraviolet rays in the combustion chamber of the combustor 2b using three UV photocells 13 through the wave guide 11. The flame is thereby detected at a place under an excellent environment far from the combustion chamber by detecting the ultraviolet rays by the UV photocell 13, and the flame detecting device for the gas turbine can be simply structured and facilitates maintenance such as exchange work.
